as for being on gprs, u may consider registering for an account on http://www.mtctouch.com.lb using ur mobile number and they have a page to check ur data consumption

You were viewing applications too quickly, and you were automatically banned because our system thinks you may be scraping our website for content (something that we do not allow) or that you’re an automated bot of some kind. You should be automatically unbanned soon.
Any idea how to avoid this error or any alternative for the apptrackr site?
The website isn’t banned, but it is a problem with apptrackr itself. They are getting lots of requests and they can’t keep up with the demand. It shows in Lebanon because in Lebanon many of us share the same IP. I suggest you wait a little or see another site like http://www.iphoneapplist.net/

I am having a problem using MTC WAP on 3GS 3.1.2. i know i cant get a call when am using the network but the problem i have is that i cant get a call even if i close everything like mail, safari,… i check the processes and everything is off but i still think the phone is connecting. have u ever encountered that?

hey man, ZuZ ur great, but i have a small question, is the safari on wap still working? i tried ur instructions but i couldn’t find that .plist file… weird.. instead the new version of uafaker has a settings page… so u can do everything visually… i tried, still didn’t work… any solution please… thank you man,… reply to my email address…

zuz, i was given an iphone 4 2 month ago, bought from the states. i manage to jailbreak it through a friend. i want to enable gprs from mtc, but i don’t have the APN , username or password options in general settings network. i ssh’d the iphone through filezilla and didn’t find any entry for mtc carrier so i can edit it and make it work. any ideas ?

at college we have to use a proxy to use internet, most of the apps on iPhone are not configured to use proxy, so only safari, app-store and some apps like how stuff works.
is there a way to tweak the phone and make them use the proxy settings(user n password)i put in WiFi settings?? it seems they don’t…
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

i have an iphone 3g and i have recently upgraded to IOS4 and jailbroke and unlocked myself and got push working
i am subscribed to ALFA WAP
and well non of the FIXES here or at r****’s website are working neither with safari nor with any other app
also when i downloaded the UserAgent faker for SBSettings, whenever i try to use it my springboard keeps on crashing and turning me into safe mode
any help ?

UAFaker does not support iOS 4.0 ..
sadly this was the only fix to get alfa wap to work on iPhone

Mike… no need for any APN. just call mtc and register for the GPRS service.
